RMLSMMC RULES 2005/06

1)Membership is on an individual basis.

2)Membership is non transferable.

3)Only annual members of the club are entitled to accrue points for the seasons championship.

4)Non-members of the club can only race a maximum of three times in any one year after which time they must become an annual member.

5)No one will be allowed to use the track without 3^rd party insurance. (Proof Required).

6)No person/s without insurance is/are allowed within the circuit perimeter.

7)Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.

8)No alcohol to be consumed on the premises.

9)No mobile phones are to be taken onto the rostrum.

10) A race director will be appointed on each race day.

11)All heats will be started with a rolling start system.

12)Finals will be started with a grid system.

13)Drivers only of the heat racing will be allowed on the rostrum, the only other people allowed will be a committee member or a race director. 

14)Members should always behave in a safe and responsible manner both on and off the track, to themselves, fellow competitors (especially marshals) and members of the public.

15)Any member repeatedly using abusive language will be asked to leave the premises and may have their membership revoked.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a family orientated hobby and children are normally present at meetings.

15)No parking road cars within the pit area. Access must be available at all times.

16)Entry and exit from the track is via the pit gate only. No climbing the fence.

17)Driving model cars/trucks within the pit area is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

18)No independent traders allowed to trade at the trackside

19)No car/truck is to be raced with out a body shell.

20)Members should always make sure their frequency is clear before switching on their transmitters. A pegboard system will be in operation at all times. 

21)Transponders must be returned immediately after each race.

22)No one under the age of 16 will be allowed to marshal.

23)Drivers must marshal the races directly after their race and when called upon.

24)Failure to do so will result in a penalty.

25)All members will be responsible for leaving the track and surrounding area clean and tidy to include sweeping the track if necessary and disposal of your rubbish. 

26)All vehicles will run to B.R.C.A. rules. 

27)Working on cars/trucks within the pit lane is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. 

28)All cars/trucks must be adequately silenced. (If your exhaust brakes or falls off during racing you must stop.)

29)No refuelling is permitted during racing or practicing, except in the pit area. Engines must be switched off while doing so.

30)All cars/trucks must have a foam bumper fitted of at least 40mm tall. This is to protect people as well as cars/trucks.

31)If a driver is being lapped, they must move over to allow faster cars/trucks to pass.

32)No car/truck shall leave the pit lane until it is clear of traffic approaching.

33)Penalties will be given for pulling out in front of another vehicle. 

34)If a member leaves for any reason they shall not be entitled to a refund on their membership or race fees. 

35)The track owners reserve the right to close the circuit on appropriate days for maintenance. 

36)The committee reserves the right to refuse or terminate memberships.

37)The committee has the FINAL say on all decisions.

38)MEMBERS DISREGARDING THE ABOVE RULES

39)Two verbal warnings will be given.

40)Membership will cease if the member continues not to comply and a non – refundable policy will apply.
